Snickers Fudge is probably a trademark lawsuit waiting to happen. I know I
should rename it to something more generic and less likely to bring about a nasty letter from a lawyer, but there's just no better way to describe this candy bar-inspired fudge. (Plus, I'm lazy!) Snickers fudge has not one, not two, not three, but
four (count 'em, four!) delicious layers of chocolatey, peanutty love--just like that candy bar that Shall Not Be Named. The base and topping are chocolate fudge, and sandwiched in between these are a thick layer of peanut-studded nougat and chewy, creamy caramel. This recipe requires several chilling periods, so it's a little time intensive, but it's also made entirely in the microwave, so I think that tips the scales in its favor. Give this fudge a try and then see if you're still interested in eating a stale, overpriced candy bar whose name rhymes with "Shmickers."
